ST-108 Granular Activated Carbon Strength Tester

The ST-108 Granular Activated Carbon Strength Tester is an instrument designed to measure the wear resistance of activated carbon. It is manufactured based on national standards GB/T 12496.6 "Test Methods for Wood-Based Activated Carbon: Determination of Strength", GB/T 7702.3 "Test Methods for Granular Activated Carbon from Coal: Determination of Strength", and ASTM D3802. It can measure various granules (such as spherical, extruded, and flaky), catalysts, and catalyst carriers. It is also suitable for the measurement and analysis of granular materials with similar properties, providing a data analysis basis for improving the proportioning of granular materials.

Note:

● According to the requirements of standards GB/T 12496.6 and GB/T 7702.3-2008

● Coal-based activated carbon should be stored in a special cylinder with longitudinal ribs for enhanced strength.

● Wooden activated carbon columnar carbon uses a special cylinder with longitudinal ribs inside for enhanced strength.

● The amorphous granules of wooden activated carbon are packed using a special cylinder designed for activated carbon strength without longitudinal ribs inside.

● If both coal-based activated carbon and wood-based activated carbon are to be tested for strength, it is recommended to provide two additional cylinders, specifically, two activated carbon strength cylinders with longitudinal ribs and two without.
